    I don’t care that much about the royal family. I don’t really feel that they represent me. And I don’t really think about them that much. They don’t come up that much in my day-to-day life. I think that in the past there was a sense in which they sort of mattered to British society. I’ve never really felt that way that much. But at least with Queen Elizabeth II, there was this sense that she was in some way representative, I don’t think people talk that often about Charles that way, I don’t watch the sort of media or pay attention to the royal family all that much, I think. And I think there’s better stuff to represent Britain and British culture now. That might sound harshhart, brutalharsh, but I don’t hate them, but they don’t mean that much to me.
